FIRST IMPRESSIONS
NAME: Dennis Collins
ALIAS: the Butcher
AGE: Arthur/John estimates him to be in his mid 40s to early 50s; however, CoC timeline math would make him more like 38-41 years of age.
APPEARANCE: He is described as a short man with a thin, greying beard. His eyes are cold, a pale blue, nearly appearing grey. He typically wears a hat, with short salt-and-pepper greyed hair visibly sticking out from under it. Beneath the hat, between the scraps of hair, he is visibly balding. He has a lean build, fit and capable athletically. He wears clothes to blend in, from nice but not very memorable suits to disguises such as stolen police uniforms as the hunt dictates.
DEMEANOR: Flippant and casual, confident with himself and his deadly profession. He's friendly enough on a mundane level, fully capable of pretending to be normal and getting along with people around him for every day life. However, beneath the ordinary facade is a skilled killer. He's proud of his talent and it shows. He has no qualms with what he does as an assassin for hire and generally no concerns talking about it to his employers or marks. In fact, he quite enjoys it. The thrill of the hunt, the intrigue of a worthy prey, these things keep him interested and satisfied. When he's on the hunt or otherwise deadly serious, the Butcher is quite capable of a dangerous and intimidating demeanor that fits his killer profession. And though he typically has a calm demeanor even as he performs a job, when he does let his temper flare it is as fiery as one would expect of a snarling wolf.
AUDITORY: Irish brogue. Through and through. He can often be heard humming or whistling a tune. Or even singing as he hunts his prey. Music is important to him.
OLFACTORY: Usually clean with the undercurrent of leather except right after a successful hunt, in which case he may still have the scent of blood on him.
AURA/ENERGY: Nothing particularly notable about him. He's a fairly mundane human as far as currently known. However, for flavor and those that see such things on anyone in sight, let's say he has a darker aura of blacks, grays, and reds, like a scribbled mess of chaos. And somewhere in the middle of all the mess a line of bright, very clear and crisp musical denotation, ever changing to fit the tune of his mood.

SKILLS & MISCELLANEOUS
SKILLS: A talented and efficient assassin with skills in murdering without being caught. He prefers to use piano wire for stealth although he admits to sawing into his victims' necks to cause pain and watch the blood flow when a job asks for it. From the right angle, he still manages to keep the blood off him and walk away without suspicion. However, the Butcher is also proficient with other weaponry from knives to firearms or simply using his bare hands. He's crafty enough to use disguises and ruses to get the job done. He once managed to kill a man inside prison via making it look like suicide, and he mentions using accidents and mistakes to make a job done look like something else caused a target's death. He will kill anyone in his way, including unfortunate witnesses and policemen who think they've caught him. He once took a job to kill a man's daughter of the age of fifteen; morality is not really a point of contention for him.

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Good luck. He can appear friendly but at his core he's a man in love with the kill.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes. Again, he's a killer and used to violence and bloodshed. He'll put up a decent fight.
RELATIONSHIPS: Good luck. OTA gen, he will pretend to be friendly for most mundane encounters. Unless, of course, you're his prey in which case it's 50/50 toss up if he pretends to be polite in public or simply goes for the kill. :'D If you want to discuss shipping/smut, age 21+ with an ic preference to 30+ individuals. The caveat here is that there will be little to no romance/love and all psychopathic obsession from a man who indulges in violence, bloodplay, and murder as he sees fit. As such, gender and roles don't matter to him. He's only in it for the morbid curiosity to see what makes the other person tick. So if you're looking for a (human) monster to indulge in some extremely broken relationship dynamics then give me a shout and we can see what shakes out.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: None. He has no protection against this. If it's telepathy, go for it. If it's mind reading, it's probably ok just give me a head's up so I know what juicy extras to include in descriptions. If it's mind controlling stuff let's discuss. As a general note for anyone reading his mind: he always has music in his head, whether it's a random song he's heard or something made up as he goes about his latest hunt (or a combination of both).
MAGICAL INFORMATION: None. He seems fairly mundane so far despite his canon. Using it against him is fine although if it's gonna be super crazy and/or controlling please give me a head's up first. If it's typical occult ritual stuff probably just throw it at him, I love me some Lovecraftian BS. :'D
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Not much bothers him, he's seen a lot of bad shit and committed a lot of heinous crimes with his own two hands. He's a murderer for hire, he really doesn't care. His one trigger though is being called a failure. Do it and see what happens. I mean, if your name is Arthur Lester you already know it's the best way to get his attention to distract him... and get him to murder you first in a room of people he's ready to kill.
Otherwise, triggers that are likely to come in gameplay with him: murder, violence, torture, blood and gore, abusive father, patricide (of said abusive father), other psychotic tendencies that end up in play. Additional triggers could include mention of cults, sacrifices, rituals, Lovecraftian lore, etc. So far the Butcher appears to be one of the most mundane antagonists of the Malevolent series but he does have connections to individuals that are aware of the elder beings and gods so it has potential to come up by association.
