Collins stayed in his room for quite a while after the incident, but he did go out for brief snippets to get food. Usually he would rather grab and go but some days it just wasn't in the cards. He sat at a table picking slowly at his food. He glanced up when he was addressed.
He sighed. "I would rather you didn't. But as I'm sure you have somethin' ta say or ta do, go on and get it over with and be on yer way."
"I am afraid so, yes. My apologies," Sebastian says, with an apologetic-looking smile that of course is not sincere in the slightest, seeing as he doesn't hesitate to take a seat opposite Collins.
"My name is Sebastian Michaelis, first of all. It is my pleasure.
May I assume you are aware that Mr Doe announced your recent deeds on the Network?"

The Butcher raised a skeptical brow at the apology. He didn't believe that was sincere in the slightest. It didn't matter.
He watched Sebastian take the time to actually take a seat before getting on with it.
"You can cut out tha formalities and get to it already, Mr. Michaelis." And after a beat of silence he frustratingly answered the question. "Yes, I am aware it was announced to all and sundry."
Politeness deserved politeness. Even if it was pointless.
Collins poked idly at a piece of something on his plate with a utensil. He smiled unhappily at Sebastian's question.
"What good would a weapon do me? Go to tha Enclosure and let me pretend fer a bit? Hunt some fake animals because that's all I could ever use them on? Fuck that. Fuck Trevor Belmont. And fuck you." His eyes snapped up at that last to bore into Sebastian. His eyes were dark and wild and full of rage.
"Oh, I agree: when I was newly arrived I was most anxious to obtain a weapon for myself, but it is true there is only so much point to one when death is not permanent. It is quite a shame."
Not faced at all by Collins' anger, Sebastian continues smiling. He's sure Trevor has offered Collins a weapon, no matter what Collins says.
"Please, there is no need for anger; I am not here to lecture you on the immorality of murder. But if I may, Mr Collins... non-permanent as death may be here, please leave Trevor Belmont out of it going forward. He is, as you may have noticed, the only Warden here completely on the side of us Inmates. Hurting him serves no one, yourself included."
"Are you fuckin' daft? It's not even about that. A weapon ain't hard ta find. Don't need a warden fer that."
Though of course the fact that death wasn't permanent certainly rankled him, too. Collins's main concern currently, however, was the fact that he couldn't use a weapon on anyone but himself at the moment. And the only time Trevor offered him a weapon was to go to the Enclosure to shoot at fake animals. He didn't keep it. He didn't use it for anything other than to show Trevor how it should be used, and honestly the experience had been rather upsetting rather than freeing due to the turn of conversation.
Maybe he was being petty right now. He wasn't in the mood for conversation much less this conversation. It would be days before he gave enough of a shit to care what anyone else thought, and that was thin at best on any given day.
"Well, it certainly doesn't hurt, does it? Seein' as how, as ya pointed out, it isn't permanent and it doesn't have any consequence. Tha only thing it does is make people show their weakness and possessiveness. I don't give a damn and I still say fuck you."
Never mind the fact that Trevor Belmont wasn't exactly Collins's least favorite person on board. Perhaps, rather, that was part of the problem today. He was unhappy with how Belmont reacted and pissed off that here he was being forced to discuss the infuriating man.
"Oh", Sebastian says with a soft chuckle as he lets his eyes turn a softly glowing red, his pupils turning into cat-like slits, and he allows his fangs to show briefly in his smile, "felt I possessive towards him, I assure you you would be aware."
Sebastian is deeply possessive; he does not tolerate people touching his things. Trevor, for as much as he likes the man, is not one of his things.
Even so, a small demonstration of why it's a good idea to take Sebastian's suggestion seriously doesn't hurt. He stands up.
"Well then, that is all I had to say. Please keep it in mind for the future?"

...My apologies for still not 'getting to it'. The question is relevant, I assure you."

"They were all opportunities waitin' ta happen."

Sebastian clasps his hands in his lap, not even having bothered with a plate of food for himself.
"Would I be remiss to assume Trevor Belmont has, if not lent, then at least offered weapons to you?"
