IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT:Some time post Part 35. Canon updated to Part 40.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: He is described as a short man with a thin, graying beard. His eyes are a pale blue, nearly appearing grey. He typically wears a hat, with short salt-and-pepper greyed hair visibly sticking out from beneath it. Beneath the hat, between the scraps of hair, he is visibly balding. He has a lean build, fit and capable athletically. He tends to prefer nice suits in greys and blacks, typically of a three piece style from his time period. Auditory: Irish brogue. Through and through. He can often be heard humming or whistling a tune. Or even singing as he hunts his prey. Music is important to him. Scent: Usually just a clean scent on the Barge, the faint traces of leather in his wardrobe, maybe the smell of well-read books from being in the library. Not allowed to play with blood so. no iron scent. :c
•DEMEANOR: Flippant and casual, confident with himself and his deadly profession. He's friendly enough on a mundane level, fully capable of pretending to be normal and getting along with people around him for every day life. However, beneath the ordinary facade is a skilled killer. He's proud of his talent and it shows. He has no qualms with what he does as an assassin for hire and generally no concerns talking about it to his employers or marks. In fact, he quite enjoys it. The thrill of the hunt, the intrigue of a worthy prey, these things keep him interested and satisfied. When he's on the hunt or otherwise deadly serious, the Butcher is quite capable of a dangerous and intimidating demeanor that fits his killer profession. And though he typically has a calm demeanor even as he performs a job, when he does let his temper flare it is as fiery as one would expect of a snarling wolf.
•ABILITIES: A talented and efficient assassin with skills in murdering without being caught. He prefers to use piano wire for stealth although he admits to sawing into his victims' necks to cause pain and watch the blood flow when a job asks for it. From the right angle, he still manages to keep the blood off him and walk away without suspicion. However, the Butcher is also proficient with other weaponry from knives to firearms or simply using his bare hands. He's crafty enough to use disguises and ruses to get the job done. He once managed to kill a man inside prison via making it look like suicide, and he mentions using accidents and mistakes to make a job done look like something else caused a target's death. He will kill anyone in his way, including unfortunate witnesses and policemen who think they've caught him.

•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Healthy. Athletic build. Very well kept for a man his age.
•BARGE JOB INFORMATION: Not to be confused with his real life profession of a contract killer back in his world. :3 He is now a warden Supervisor at the Library for shelving and organizing the books. He's pretty relaxed about it, mostly just doing his part of the job (and then some) to keep himself busy. He doesn't care what others do. Unless you're hurting the library in which case GTFO or he will cut a bitch. No, but seriously, be nice to the library. >:|
Plus some cleaning work he does on his own initiative. His room and the level seven common room where the stoat playpen is located.
He also helps gather supplies during ports and usually gives everything to Sweeney for the inventory. He does also keep his own supply of alcohol and cigarettes for his personal consumption as well, stored away in his room.
•CABIN INFORMATION: 217.Formerly a basic prison cell. As of this request, Collins's room is a barebones (but still vastly improved) 1930s furnished room occupied with a decent bed, a writing desk and chair, a record player on a stand, and with shelving for records and books. The view outside his window consists of the lush green fields of Ireland as discussed here with Raylan Givens. This view was nixed when mods changed the rules and the Barge was updated/fixed that one time. It's just the standard view of the stars, ew, and Collins keeps it shuttered and covered with thick curtains now, fuckingnothanks. So it's still very Spartan but a much more comfortable place to live in. As of this he also has a typewriter (and supplies) for his desk. And after talking to Sheehan about art he has a handful of painting supplies scattered around the room. Since graduating he has extra ammo and a cleaning kit for his pistol (Smith & Wesson M1917 revolver) in his room as well. He keeps the gun and some extra ammo on him at nearly all times though. He has a couple of trinkets on a shelf that he's gathered from his time on the Barge; one notable one holds center place: a notation knife that Maddie gifted him. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY he ended up with a stoat companion that lives with him in his room. There's no cage, but there are a number of toys and puzzles around the room for the little critter. It nests in the bottom drawer of the desk. Surprisingly, Collins doesn't mind cleaning the room daily so it doesn't smell too bad, just the faint waft of pungent weasel when one first walks in. Aerith has added flowers to the room as well.
Update: Since graduating his room hasn't really changed at all. The only addition is the big, sturdy metal bathtub (like one would see in the industrial age) in his washroom. He later asked for an additional small shower area for quick washes. But he loves his giant ass tub for long soaks. Shush!
Update 2: Collins finally asked for a few additions to his room. He added a music room with a piano-forte (and added a guitar from a port) that connects to the main room. He also requested a basement with a workbench and some tools to go with it. His slowly growing collection of weapons is also stored in the basement. Though no one can enter his cabin without permission (Admiral inforced restrictions) he still hides the entrance to the basement beneath a rug.
Update 3: He got an extra room for "guests"--which really means for Trevor to stay in. It's a comfortable bedroom with a few extra touches to it.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Not much bothers him, he's seen a lot of bad shit and committed a lot of heinous crimes with his own two hands. He's a murderer for hire, he really doesn't care. His one trigger though is being called a failure. Do it and see what happens.I mean, if your name is Arthur Lester you already know it's the best way to get his attention to distract him... and get him to murder you first in a room of people he's ready to kill. Not so keen on father figures or talking about his father though he will do so openly. He pretends not to care about being called a dog but it kind of gets on his nerves, thanks Arthur.

If it's mind reading, it's probably ok just give me a head's up so I know what juicy extras to include in descriptions. If it's mind controlling stuff let's discuss. As a general note for anyone reading his mind: he always has music in his head, whether it's a random song he's heard or something made up as he goes about his latest hunt (or a combination of both).
•MIMICRY: Voice mimicry is fine, appearance probably is too but give a head's up. We can probably plot something out, just lmk so I'm aware of what consequences might be heading his way! Haha.
•VIOLENCE: Yes. He's a killer and used to violence and bloodshed. He'll put up a decent fight.
•MAGIC: He seems fairly mundane so far despite his canon. Using it against him is fine although if it's gonna be super crazy and/or controlling please give me a head's up first.
•DEBATE: Yes, he'd probably enjoy it. However, he's a violent sort so be aware it can lead to a physical fight if it gets serious.
